how much is ten shillings in new zealand money?

does shillings actually exist anymore ? lol cuz i dont know but tell me so yea cuz it says on this paper that back in the old old days a gold coin would be 10 shillings so i want to know what it would be in new zealand money??? if that makes sense

The old New Zealand denominations were changed to a decimal dollar system around 40 years ago. The gold 10 shillings coin was more commonly known as a half sovereign, and they are still minted in Britain today. According to the second link below, in 1895 a half sovereign had the same purchasing power as $150NZ or so (after doing the conversion) in 2007. I hope that helps.
