More vacation ideas to ponder over
Looking for somewhere interesting to go on holiday and stuck for ideas? Heres some ideas for that next holiday.
The land of the rising sun -Japan. Get ready for a culture shock, as things are done completely different from the way the western world does. Quirky and colourful, Japan cant be described, but rather seen with your own eyes. Toyko can be a very pricey city, but is on the cutting edge of technology. On the flip side of the coin, the traditional Japanese villages celebrate Japans past, and can be very rewarding to anyone going for swords, Samurai and honour. If you can try seeing both of the sides that Japan has to offer, as it will show the vastness of the culture. The translation may be alittle difficult, as the Asian languages are considered difficult to master, so picking up some Japanese before you go will be helpful to you.
Italy. Home of romance and culture and good food. Complete the Italian cliche by taking your sweetheart for a gondola ride. For anyone who loves the idea of the historical architecture and the great cusine this can be a brilliant place, just make sure when visiting Venice your catch it at the right time, as it can get extremely busy during the tourist season. Dont fancy Venice? Milan, is worth a look for those more fashion conscious amongst us, and will still have that great architecture.
India. While were in the grip of a recession, India has seen its economy grow strong, so it may be a great time to visit? India's 'Bollywood' rivals Hollywood itself, but with much more cultural song and dance involved. The money that is now coming into India is seeing the cricket teams bring in some famed cricket players for the latest tournament.
