Would I be admitted into UNC Chapel Hill? 3.98 GPA / 26 ACT?
I ran cross country for 2 years and we won state each year. I played softball for one year. I was in Key Club, BETA Club, and an Ambassador. I play piano everyday and take formal lessons. I was awarded with Best in Show for the school art show. I have taken the most rigorous courses my school offers, EXCEPT I did not take AP European History. Calculus honors, physics honors, latin IV honors, english literature AP, and biology II honors with addition to required-by-the-school electives are what I’m taking right now.
My english/writing subscore is 26 and the writing score is 8.
What are my chances? I am NOT a resident of North Carolina.
a bit low on the act score but everything else looks solid enough. not sure if they have a quota system for out-of-state though – if so, you’ll be competing for a less number of open spots.
