Is it rare to not have a middle name in America? I don’t have one.?
I’m from the Ukraine and I don’t have a middle name. Are there any more people, maybe American-born with no middle names? It seems like every American has one. Also, are your middle names connected to your family or is it just a name that your mom gave you because she liked it? Just Curious.
To the Ukrainian person below, no I do not have a male middle name 
I know I “should” traditionally, but it doesn’t make sense to me (since it’s a male father’s name and I already have his last name ) and so we didn’t put it on our American documents. I really don’t have a middle name.
i do not have a middle name (i’m American, born in the US). my dad decided that having a middle name, for him, was a waste of time and space his whole life and didn’t want me to be burdened by it. i have not met anyone else that does not have a middle name yet
