Silver English Sixpenny piece dated 1954?
i would like to know what the value today is?
The 1954 circulation strike English 6 Pence is made of copper/nickel not silver. It had a mintage around 105,241,000 so is not a scarce date. Here in the states you can find them in a dealers world coin box for .10-.25 cents. It is no longer legal tender, for the UK has gone to the decimal system (1971).
