Does anyone know the value today of a coin that I have?
It is a roman Silver Denarius, minted aprox 100 BC. It has 4 horses on the back pulling a chariot.
First go to atleast 3 antique/rare coins dealers to make sure of authenticity. Then, ask various such dealers for the approximate price, which should not be anything less than 1000$ if its authentic. Finally, dont sell unless you are badly in need of money. I wouldnt. But if you really want to, then put it up for auction. Dont sell to a dealer, but go for highest bidder, and keep your floor price at the highest price set by the antique coin dealers.
