Golf is a sport for everyone, children disagree.
Over the years there has been a big decline in young people learning new things especially sports like golf. But what is the real reason for this? It certainly isn’t down to kids not wanting to use the electric golf trolleys.
One of the major reasons a lot of young people do not wish to take up the sport is the fact that their dad plays it every other day. As well as this, golf really isn’t very popular for any child in school as the dress code for golf makes anyone look absolutely ridiculous. The fact is that when I was at school the people who played golf were only friends with the other golf players which was either out of choice or bullying which is wrong.
I do not understand why people see golf as a old mans sport and not like all the other major sports like football and rugby. Golf itself is a high profile sport its just no one of a young age is that interested. In a way this is not true as I know a young boy who loves the game and enjoys playing it every Saturday morning when he is not at school. The only problem is ge wishes to play football and go to gardening club rather than play golf. I just do not see how gardening could be better than playing golf? Is it that children find the game boring and a bit strange? I have never really gotten on with any sport so it is not just golf I do not like which means I am certainly not biased against the sport.
To be honest with you I certainly think that kids would benefit from playing golf than a lot of the other sports out there. The players behaviour in golf is great compared to those of other sports which is brilliant for the kids who play the sport as it can teach them how to play a sport in the right way. Golf is also great as it encourages people to go out and do something with their time, either play for a bit of fun or go out and play with the pros if you get that good in a chance to win some serious money.
So charge up those golf batteries kids and get playing!
