Can anyone tell me about a nazi coin?

It is a 1935-D 1 reichspfennig. What is the significance of the different mintings? (A,B,D,…)

It is a reference to the city where it was minted. Here’s the list of Nazi mint marks and the city the coins were minted.
A = Berlin
B = Vienna
D = Munich
E = Dresden
F = Stuttgart
G = Karlsruhe
J = Hamburg

I clicked on the stock list at bottom of source, it says a 1940 – 1945 1 Reichspfennig made of zinc is worth $3.50 US and one from 1936 – 1940 and made of copper is $4.50 US.
