How much is this coin worth?
It’s a Nazi coin that says Reich Pfennig on the back with a 1. On the front it says Deuttches Reith. It’s from 1941 and has the imperial eagle in the center holding a writhe with a swastika in the center.
Under the one is the letter F. It’s in really good shape for a 1941 coin. All the engravings are intact as if it was only a couple years old but you can tell it has wear on it from circulation at least anyway.
The German 1941-J (Hamburg mint) Reich Pfennig had a mintage of 57,625,000 and is made of bronze. It is not a scarce coin, one reason is a lot of the Nazi coins were saved by servicemen, they became demonetized when the war ended. The 1 Pfennig coins can usually be found in circulated condition in coin dealers world coin boxes for .25 to .50 cents. High grade examples may get a dollar or two. Your coin is another example of a coin having more historic value, then a monetary one. As time goes by it’s value will increase so put it in a coin holder and hold onto it.
