what are the Best Real Mexican Family Restaurants in Los angeles that are nice?
Mothers day is coming up and i want to take my mother out to eat. she loves mexican food along with the family. But we dont want to go to a place where the “mexican food” isnt even close to being mexican. I was wondering if there was a place in Los Angeles or near enough that is nice to visit, good service, quality food, and maybe entertainment if possible. thanks will appreciate it. i tried city search already.
El Cholo is nice. Guadalajara Grill is lots of fun. Live Mariachi shows on the weekends (inculding Sundays). It’s a tiny bit of a drive away in Baldwin Park, but very close to the freeway. The food is more authentic than others, not stuffy, more like what you’d expect from a family party (if you’re looking for that). Also, La Fonda on Wilshire in LA near MacArthur Park (I know, sounds like a bad neighborhood, but it’s more upscale than Guad. Grill)..They also have Mariachi playing. Both seat large parties, but again, tomorrow is Mother’s Day. Hope this helps.
