Rare Key

I have a rare “Nancy Make Believe” wooden toybox, very old?
I remember finding it in a junk yard over 50 years ago. It is awesome, covered with pictures of these dolls and more, wooden with the old fashioned latches and keys. Who can tell me about Nancy Make Believe? I knew it was a treasure 50 years ago and am not sure what to do with it now. It is large, maybe 8 inches deep by 3 x 2 feet.
Wow, it sounds like you have something so rare that google hasn’t even heard of it! I can’t find any info on it. What kind of pictures does it have? Is it Nancy Drew or a Nancy doll?

Doo Wop Box $45.00 The unwritten rules for doo-wop groups were deceptively simple: name your group after a bird (the Wrens, the Flamingos) or a car (the Cadillacs, the El Dorados), practice your two-, three-, or four-part harmonies on a neighborhood street corner or in the back of a candy store, and sing songs about how much you love your baby. It might have seemed like an obvious formula, but getting it just right … |

Songstress $7.64 Baker’s deservedly obscure 1983 debut was reissued in 1991, long after her 1986 Rapture CD had garnered a Grammy and established her as a sophisticated, sensuous balladeer. Baker’s smoky alto is recognizable enough, but it lacks the emotional immediacy and dramatic phrasing of her later work. The best track here is obviously “Angel,” which sounds like a less polished version of Baker’s breakthroug… |
