What metal is the small, golden hued, 5 rappen Swiss Franc coin made of?
It is much better looking than the metal used for the Euro coins. The Swiss metal looks more like gold than any other non-gold currency that I have seen. It almost looks gold-plated.
Aluminum broonze, apparently.
Production will likely end soon, as it costs more to make these coins than the monetary value.
