Proof Coloured
I want to start Airsoft skirmishing and buy a (not)brightly coloured airsoft SMG.?
I am in Manchester.
Is there a local skirmishing group or club ?
How do I go about this legally? Do I apply for membership to the group or club and then wait before I can produce proof of membership so I can buy a not brightly coloured airsoft SMG ?
Chicken and egg: Can’t skirmish without the gun, can’t get the gun without proof of membership ?
You won’t be able to buy a Real Imitation Firearm (RIF) until you have your UKARA registration.
To get this you need to register as a member of an insured game site. This requires that you play not less than 3 times in not less than 56 days ( 2 months ), i.e. you need to attend 3 skirmishes in MORE than 2 months, you cannot play for 3 days in a row and qualify.

Most sites will rent you a RIF during this period, the usual rate is £40-50/day but it does vary from site to site.
