Is it safe to polish old coins with metal polisher?
guys, im a coin collector and some of my coins are very old, can i polish them usingan ordinary metal polisher? will it affect it’s value or something.. please help
If you are a true coin collector than you should know that cleaning or polishing coins is a no no. Cleaning or polishing coins causes more damage than is already there and will also make the coin worth much less. Old coins are supposed to look old. Some polishes will also turn the coins black. Just enjoy the coins the way they are.
