Plant Unc

I want to know if working at south-port nuclear plant in north carolina is a Great place to have a job in?
I want to have an electrical engineering degree and so i plan to go to southeastern community college for two years and then transfer to UNC of Charllote. Then go work at South-port. Is this a great place to have a job or do i need to reconsider another area? Your advice would most gracessly be helpfull. thank you.
The Brunswick Nuclear Power Plant in Southport NC is a pretty good plant and will probably be around for a while. The Southport area, as you probably know, is a nice place to live, with all the nice beaches and such. The future of Southport includes an expansion of the ocean terminal, so there is going to be a lot of economic expansion in the area.
You would be able to get a job at the plant after graduation, and you might even try working there a bit during their outages even as a student, getting experience and feeling out whether you like the work.
Perhaps you have some more specific questions. The nuclear power plant training and working with all the systems in a nuclear plant will certainly allow you a lot of opportunities to apply what you learn in college. Keep in touch, and good luck.
