German Coins – How much are they worth?
I have a 5 Deutsche Mark coin – 1975 (Unity, Justice & Freedom is the inscription on the edge of this)
&
A 10 Pfennig coin – 1982
They’re both in pretty good condition. There is a little bit of green corrosion on the Mark coin. I know their values in USD. I just want to know, out of curiosity, how much they’d be worth to a collector. I also have some very old Icelandic coins and a few other countries’ as well.
They are too new to have any real collector value. They would have some collector value but only in Germany. The actually have no value in any currency for they are no longer legal tender. It will be another 20 years or so for them to have much of a value.
