Pesos Coin

I have found a copper-nickel 50 peso coin. I’ve gotten the impression their not worth much, whats its value?
The year of the coin is 1985. All the information I’ve found online, indicates that the coin is basically worthless. Any information would be helpful.
Mexican money was changed a few years back. So, its worthless…but cool to hang on to.
Just so that you know, I was in Mexico a few weeks back. The exchange was 10 pesos for every U.S. dollar.
