I need help with Panama’s money? (balboa)?
how is it categorized?
like as in we have nickels and dimes and quarters.
what do they do and how much or what coins are what?

Panamanian currency is called The Balboa, but Panama uses American currency in paper money and coins and its own coins, Panamanian coins are the same size, weight, color and value as American coins:
They have one cent, five cents, ten cents, 25 cents and FIFTY CENTS coins. The fifty cent piece is very nice.

The Panamanian coins have the profile of Vasco Núñez de Balboa on each coin. Some coins have the looped ribbon a symbol of the effort to treat breast cancer.
If you took Panamanian money back to the USA it would probably go through vending machines with no trouble and you wouldn’t be cheating any body as the value is the same, though the owner of the vending machine might not like it.
In Panamanian stores and advertising they don’t use the dollar sign symbol $ to advertise price. They use a B/ to indicate Balboas. But you can pay with the Yankee dollar and Panamanian coinage and nobody thinks twice about it.
