Visit Valencia: the City of Arts and Science
The City of Arts and Sciences, the futuristic complex designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava, is one of the symbols of the city of Valencia. Calatrava is one of most famous architect all over the world and he decided to project this amazing park as a present to his home city. The scientific city is built up by 5 buildings, hosted in a wonderful space of greenery and water. Visiting the city is a great experience, a fantastic “city within the city”. Calatrava said “I am proud of the fact that people can walk through and around the main buildings without paying. It is a city to be discovered by promenading”. The works for the last sixth building have just started. Planning a trip to Valencia? Don’t miss a visit here: it probably represents the most important city symbol. Here you can read some information about the 5 buildings so that you can plan your visit.
