Where can I buy SDR RAM for my HP Pavilion 521W?
I have a vintage HP Pavilion 531W in my collection of vintage tech, and I want to upgrade to 512MB of RAM because performance isn’t very good with the original 128MB RAM.
It does support two 256MB sticks of SDRAM PC100 memory. However, while there are many available on Ebay real cheap, be careful to get low density modules. I suspect that PC will only work with the low density memory modules. Those are the 256MB modules with chips on both sides of the module, not just one side.
