How much is a 1oz silver-one dollar coin in the plastic casing worth?
About two years ago my friend gave me a 1oz. Silver-One Dollar coin in its plastic casing. I still have it in the casing and I noticed there was a year on the bottom of the heads side that said 2001. What is it worth if anything and where could I sell it like at a bank or someplace like ebay?
currently silver is worth about $35-36 per ounce
you can sell it on ebay or a coin / jewelry dealer
if you keep it
it will be worth more later
