How does one transfer data from old laptop to new laptop?
Old one is Toshiba running XP
New one is HP running Vista
I’ve removed old drive and using an SATA/IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter,
still not working and all my documents are encrypted and unreadable.
Had to remove drive because of overheating/ and the battery is not charging with external power supply
is it possible to burn to cd/dvd all data on old drive?
You can buy a crosscable for 15 bucks and simply hook them together, use Windows Explorer to transfer files
