Why is it wrong to pray for the Netherlands/Holland to win the World Cup?
I pray to God that the Netherlands will win the World Cup and one of my friends told me that it is immature and childish and that I should be praying for more serious things.
I’m not a huge believer in God and I’m not even Christian, but I get really passionate about soccer. I’m not even from Holland but they’ve been my favorite team since childhood.
