16 year old Lab Mix howling at night?
I have a 16 year old labrador mixed with huskey & german shepherd. She has hip problems, heart condition, deaf, and cataracts. She has been howling every night for the past 4-5 nights. I know people say dogs howl when death in the family is near. But could it be that she’s about to go or for another reason? It’s really concerning me, and any advice or thoughts are appreciated.
maybe she has cognitive dysfunction. take her to the vet. there are medications that can help with cognitive problems.
