Note: No coins were minted in the years 1942 and 1943 (“Mickey Mouse” banknotes were used instead), but minting resumed in 1944 until 1947. The English Series coins were first minted in 1958. The first notes of the Central Bank of the Philippines (established 1949) were overprints on the Victory Treasury Certificates. The English Series of banknotes was introduced in 1951.
