Is there a way to flush or clean the heater core? Without replacing first.?
I tried blowing out with 120 lbs of air though both hoses already but doesn’t help my no heat problem. Anti-freeze/coolant goes in hot but doesn’t circulate through core just seems like it stops there.
I have a repair shop and flush these things all the time. I use a cooling system flush-gun that sprays water and air together. I have almost a 100% success rate. Just remove both hoses and flush both directions until water flows clear. Or find a shop that has a flush-gun. It’ll save you a bundle.
