Does the college that you attend have a large impact on the transfer admissions chance into another college?
I am going to a small college called the University of West Georgia and was wondering if the fact that it is not a very large, well known, or prestigious school will have any impact on me getting into a better school like Emory or UNC Chapel Hill.
I think it will depend on your grades more than the reputation of the college you currently attend. I am transferring from a community college and have not ran into any trouble about my current school. The advisers I have talked to at several universities don’t even really care about my school, they want to see my transcript.
