What is the main reason of a business?
The main reason of a business in my opinion, is to help fulfill the desires of the owner(s) of that business, whether to make money (I can’t see many businesses lasting long if they don’t have some influx of money.), help people, give security and jobs to employees, or even to buy a large bronze statue of a mushroom. (OK, well maybe a medium sized statue anyway.)
I have been in business for other reasons than to make money for over 18 years.
The main reason is to enhance the value to the owners, whether they be sole proprietors, partners, of stock owners of a corporation. Nobody is in business for any other reason besides to make money.
