Are there any British birds that will attempt to kill an adult large fowl hen?
Yer, full grown chicken. large fowl as opposed to bantam.
Lots buzzards, goshawks, european eagle owls, harris hawks, etc etc, and before all the bird experts start tellin us european eagle owls, harris hawks etc aren’t british birds. I worked along side The IBR (independant bird register) and you would be shocked just how many birds of prey escape every year there are several places where european eagle owls are now nesting in the UK.
