how much silver in a 1964 10 kroner coin?
also is it worth more because it’s uncirculated?
The 10 Kroner 1964 constitution sesquicentennial coin has a book value of $11.50 in mint state. There seems to be a difference in silver content. The older Krause books say the actual silver weight is .5787 and the new edition says .5707. It could be just an error one way or the other. It has more colelctor value than silver at this time for silver has dropped to below $14 an ounce. No one gets full silver value anyway for dealers need to make a profit. The coin had a mintage of 1,408,000 so it is not rare. Best to hols onto it for a while. Norway uses Kronor Hope this helps
