Korea Bronze
Which book would you prefer, Breakout By: Martin Russ or East Of Chosin By: Roy E. Appleman?
my grandfather was in the Korean War, but still to this day he cant really speak about it. he’ll tell a VERY few things, but thats it. He recieved 3 bronze stars in korea, 2 were from fighting the Chinese. so i think I would like to read about the Chosin Reservior to get a better insight on what it was like fighting the chinese in Korea. But i’m not looking to buying two books, so which book would you prefer.

I’d go with “East of Chosin” because it looks to be a little more thorough in its coverage of the Korean War.
