Kopeck Silver
Russian coin about the size of our silver dollar I thin a 5 kopeck made in 1858 could you tellme the mintage?
and other info? It has the double headed eagle on the front and on the back has a +5+ and then konterb, then 1858 and the initials “EM” at the bottm. thanks in advance.
Didn’t think it was that rare as the person I got it from bought it from an estate,well it was mixed in with two different estates that i got to pick over in a buket go figure,but if it’s rare then we may be on the front of World coins. Take care.
The coin you are asking about is very rare and there is no mintage figures available. Of course all the 5 Kopeks (Correct coin spelling) from 1850-1867 have the same features but of course have a different date on them. It would have to be authenticated. With the flood of fakes entering the U.S. and other countries no one would buy it without proof it is real. I can find no value on it so it must be a very rare coin.
