Kms Rare
what is the approximate proportion of metamorphic rock to igneous or sedimentary?

what i mean by this is that metamorphic rocks are the most rare. for example: for every 1 cubic km of metamorphic rock, there is _ cubic kms of igneous or sedimentary rock.
i need to emphasize their rarity in a speech next week.

Metamorphic rock is much more common in lithosphere than the other types of rock. Anything that has attained a temperature greater than 200 deg C falls into the metamorphic range. Solid rock at depths greater than 10 km will generally become metamorphosed. Below 25 km, everything is metamorphosed except for plutons that cool at that depth.

In The Woods… – 299 796 km/s (Live In San Bernadino)
