Kangaroo Emu
List of adjectives to describe animal movements!?
my class will be making up creative dances inspired by animals of australia. Im using:
Kangaroo (bouncy, light on feet, quick),
Platypus ,
Koala (slow moving, small)
Emu (quick, energetic, tall),
Dingo
Kookaburra
can you think of any discriptions that i could give the kids to give them an idea of what sort of movements to put into their dances. i dont want them to just be hopping around as kangaroos, or flapping for Emu etc.

well the kookaburras could laugh a lot, and loudly
the dingos could sneak around
the kangaroos, would probably just bound around, although they could also have a pouch with a joey in them
koalas could eat (pretend to eat gum leaves) and sleep, they do that quite a lot
platypuses could kinda swim around, not too sure how they spend their lives apart from swimming reproducing and eating.
and the emus run around a lot and stick their head in the sand. i think.
