Is there an age limit when applying for a Dutch passport?
I hope someone can help… My mother is trying to find out whether she qualifies to apply for a Dutch passport. Her mother was born in the Netherlands and her father in the then Dutch East Indies which was under rule of the Netherlands and is now known as Indonesia.
It was our understanding that she can apply for a Dutch passport due to her parent’s place of birth, but have been told that she needed to apply for the passport by the age of 31? Could anyone confirm whether this is in fact the case?
