Do people in Goa,India still speak Portuguese after they annexed Portugal’s control in 70′s?
Yes people still speak however portuguese is less spoken that Hindi which 2.09% of the Goan people speak in a state that has less that 1.500.000 people has you can image very little people speak it, however parts of the portuguese culture still reside on their everyday lives.
They are also by far the richest state of all india their per capita is almost 3 times the average of India which puts them close the per capita average of South America.
