What measures are being taken to protect the hawksbill sea turtles?
Most countries in which they nest have laws protecting thier eggs from harvest. There are also laws about abandoning nets and othere structers that trap an kill turtles. There are also programs for rescuing and saveing injured turtles. Unfortunatly many of the countries that they nest in are 3rd world countries and the laws are rairly enmforced, so many are still captured and eaten
