How important is it to have good grades in college?
Hi! I realize that getting good grades in college is important for being competitive in getting internships and jobs, but what happens if your grades are average? My GPA is about a 3.1, although I have a feeling it might go down a little bit this semester. I feel like I am beating myself up about it. If my grades are just average, how negatively will that impact me on the job market? How important is GPA with employers? I’m a Journalism major, by the way. Any advice would be great.
Yes if you ever transfer the grades might determine if you get the credit for the course. also if you ever go back to school for a masters or phd, they will look at your grade. Employers might ask you what your grades were like, on this you can not lie.
