5 World Champions Might Be Racing In F1 Next Year
Formula 1 season came to and end last weekend in Abu Dhabi. And already the teams are preparing the new cars for next year. The new types by Michelin were tested last week and you can read the car reviews can be found on several car websites online. Some people are saying the new BMW team might be joining formula 1 again in 2011 but I don’t think so. But you never know because there is always a controversy in motor racing especially in F1.
In Formula 1 history this year certainly was one of the most exciting F1 seasons. This season was very close because up until 3 races to go we still have 5 drivers who were fighting for the title. Mark Webber, Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button could all win the title. The two red bulls and Mercedes were going all guns blazing whereas one Ferrari wasn’t holding back either.
With two races to go Jenson Button was out of the contention and so was Lewis Hamilton to be honest. Two races to go and leading by 11 points Fernando Alonso became the favourite. But Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel were still there. But in Brazil Vettel won the race with Webber finishing second and Alonso third, this meant all three will head into the last race and battle it out again.
Abu Dhabi saw Vettel take poll in qualifying but Webber and Alonso were right behind him so we were all anticipating a great race and a great race it was. Tension were all around. During the race Ferrari pitted Alonso early which made Webber follow him. Though this decision did not work for both these drivers as it left the door open for Sebastian Vettel who won the race and also took the title away to become the youngest driver in F1 history.
