Is travelling in switzerland cheap?
I’m very interested to travel to switzerland! I just checked the exchange rates.. and 1USD is worth 80+ francs! May I know if shopping in switzerland is really affordable to an american?

Switzerland is not cheap, it is even considered expensive by most Europeans.
You can travel there for a moderate amount of money, but you have to be really careful and it will not be easy.
I think you do understand the exchange-rate wrong.
It is not the actual numbers that count, it is the numbers compared to what you can buy for the money.
At one time the Netherlands had the Guilder, in Belgium they used the Belgium Frank, they had an exchange-rate of 1 against 20, but the factual prices were the same. If you took your guilders to the bank to get franks and took those to the store in Belgium you could buy the same as guilders would buy you in the Netherlands. And the other way round.
So if you go to Switzerland you seem to get more money in the exchange, but all prices are higher too, so that the actual price will still be higher than what you would pay in the USA.
