What is the face value of TY Beanie Babies these days?
as in the ones that aren’t rare or anything, I want to sell them on ebay in lots of 50. and also any information on the face value of teenie beanie babies in bags, attic treasures, and beanie buddies would be helpful.
That auction you mentioned has a rare beanie babie included named Valentino.
I went to the TY beanie baby site and it said “eBay is a good place to check the current values of Beanie Babies, but it is very time consuming. Do an “advanced search” on eBay for completed auctions and choose to display the highest prices listed first. This takes quite a while to do because you will have to search for one Beanie Baby name at a time”
so i went and looked at ebay…
I found a person selling 50 beanie babies (just like you are planning) and that person is getting $117 so far. There have 14 bids as of right now and there is still a day to go. If you decide to go the ebay route (which is your best bet I think since you can get beanie baby collectors to bid) you have to specify what beanie babies are in the collection and mention if any of them are rare. However, there is also someone who has 50 beanie baby bears that no one has bid on (starting bid would be $75) with only 6 hours left for the auction.
Most sites say that beanie babies can go for about $1-$2 so if you ebay them for $50 would probably be smart. Also you can put them up for auction with a minimum bidding price so incase you don’t get them (say you list it for $50 but don’t actually want to sell them unless you get $75) you can tell ebay that and the bidder will not “win” since the minimum wasn’t reached.
Also, don’t forget that ebay takes a percentage of your earnings so you might want to factor that in! Good luck!
