What are my chances of getting into UNC chapel hill?
- 3.52 gpa UNWEIGHTED
- 3.62 GPA WEIGHTED
- SAT SCORES: MATH: 600 READING:700 WRITING: 690
-SAT SUBJECT SCORES: BIO: 680 LIT: 620
- LOTS OF ACTIVITIES: CHEERLEADER, SING IN CHURCH CHOIR, I’VE HAD THE SMAE JOB FOR FOUR YEARS… OTHER STUFF TOO
- MY BRO GOES THERE, BUT WE LIVE IN NJ
- AP SCORES: BIO:4, PSYCHOLOGY: 5, EURO: 1 (so low i know but it was the day after my house caught on fire and I explained that)
Senior year :2 AP COURSES
Other years:5 honors classes total
- I’m African American as well and my highschool is very academically competitive
I know that there are other factors (like essays and stuff) but what do you think????
I think you have a good chance. It is very hard to get into UNC- Chapel Hill if you are from out of state. I wouldn’t of even mentioned AP Euro this way you don’t have to explain your self. Your weighted GPA should have been higher than it is though, but your SATS will make up for it. I think your brother can help you, maybe put in a word or two for you. They may like the fact that you have a brother their and would may help you in getting in. I wouldn’t rely on your brother too much though. I hope you get in, but you need some back up schools in case you don’t. Good Luck!
