Bad Santa Claus Steals From Yacht Club [Till]
As Christmas 2010 approaches, it appears that Santa’s sleigh is somewhat lighter than it has been in years past. Retail sales are up, but Santa’s load is intense. He needs something to take the pressure off this holiday season. Sadly, seems like that change may have involved illegal activity. According to The Providence Journal, “Santa Claus burglarizes yacht club,” a sorry sign of modern times.

Is this robbery going to help people decide if there really there is a Santa Claus? I guess stealing gas stations wasn’t brining Santa in enough green, he needed to burglarize somewhere more upscale. According to Lt. Raymond Blinn of the Providence Police, a man dressed in a Santa Claus suit entered the East Providence Yacht Club on Pier Road Sunday evening at around 7 p.m. His gift of toys was not to give away, however rather to fill up with cash. It was noted that Saint Nick wasn’t so saintly when he pulled out what appeared to be a gun of some type. Fortunately nobody was hurt at the yacht club, and Santa Claus didn’t become a complete Grinch and did not even fire his gun.
There really are items to be thankful for this Christmas
When people think of Santa Claus they are more likely to think of a buck than a buckshot, so this even confused many. Several wonder why Santa Claus would do something so horrendous. This Terrible Santa Claus did forget to change his pants, as he was wearing jeans. You would think a man who can fly up and down chimneys would not need a gun or conduct his robberies during business hours. As it stands, Terrible Santa made off with some cash. Area police continue to investigate the case.
