what United States coin doubles its value when half is removed? Im thinking it is the penny because that would be the half coin and that is worth more today. but my sister said its the 50 cent coin. If you could please reply this is homework and it is due tom
It’s a trick question (and your sister is almost correct).
Try the “half-dollar” (which is a 50 cent coin…remove the “half” and it is now a “dollar”).
