Diff Coins
Present for husband…?
Ok, my husband has been sober for 2 years (praise God!) and I want to do something creative with his AA coins (for those who are not familiar, these coins are about the size of a half dollar, and are given to addicts at diff. points in their sobriety.) He has 3 coins. I thought of doing something with a shadow box or incorperating a poem I wrote or something…any ideas? Thanks everybody!
well it sounds good, however u want to make sure its something he’ll feel comfrontable sharing or displaying. u dont want him to feel ashamed. but here are a few ideas… get a box like frame, that is deep set. write a poem about his success and what it means to u, or find one online….cut our card board circle that u can “glue” to the back of the coins also u’ll wna tto get a vevlet or someother nice material ..perferably a dark blue or soem other dark color. and glue this material down on a cardboard ( the back ground.) then glue the poem down, and then place the coins((which should have card board already glued on the back. ) glue the coins on.. the cardboard should make the coinspop out in 3d form. then clue on a couple of extra items, such as doves, eagles, trees, sea sheels, etc…. make it all nice looking , then place the frame together. when u r doen u could also decorate the fram too, if u want too..but in the end u should have a 3d effect.
