The Best Caribbean Cruise to Take
There are many, many cruise lines which offer wonderful Caribbean cruises. To find the best cruise line to take can be a difficult task. Each cruise line tries to offer packages with unique activities to make your cruise special and memorable. Each individual chooses the Caribbean cruise that is best for them based on their interests. I would like to tell you about my favorite cruise to take? I have been on several cruises, but none have been more fun or offered more than Royal Caribbean’s Heart of the Caribbean cruise.I had so much fun for eight days and seven nights. There was so much to do and enjoy! In my opinion it is the best Caribbean cruise.
This cruise starts in San Juan, Puerto Rico and visits the islands of the Caribbean for eight days.Everyday on board or off the ship is an exciting adventure.
Oranjestad, Aruba is the first place the ship docks. It is located on the southern coast of the Caribbean. The very important city of Aruba, Oranjestad, is the Dutch capital and it means “Orangetown.”. You will enjoy the bright and colorful Dutch colonial architecture. There are many scenic sights, including the California Lighthouse, that you can explore here in this city. In Oranjestad many enjoy snorkeling off their beautiful beaches.
Off the Venezuelan coast at Willemstad, Curacao is where the ship will stop next. Curacao is the most populated and the largest island of the three islands referred to as the ABC Islands, or Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao.There is still a strong Dutch influence in the architecture and culture though it separted from the Netherlands in 1954. In Willemstad you can explore the Hato Caves and underground lake there. No one should miss this underground world. It’s spectacular. There is a trolley-train that you can take to tour around that is very nice.
Philipsburg, Saint Maarten is the next stop. The Dutch and the French split this island. The Dutch side is known for its jewelry, beaches, and festive nightlife. The French side is well known for its clothing, shopping, and nude beaches. Because of the many duty-free shops the island is known as a shopper’s paradise. Here you can purchase many fine things such as art, crafts, leather goods, jewelry, and designer clothing.
This incredible journey ends at the Virgin Islands where you can tour the fabulous Saint Thomas. There is much to see and do in Saint Thomas which has been purchased by the United States. Here you will find white sand beaches, excellent shopping, and great dining. While you are in Saint Thomas you do not want to miss the spectacular view of Magens Bay from the very famous Drakes Seat.
I’m sure you can see why I think this is the best Caribbean cruise to take. The breathtaking places that you able to visit and all the fun activities that are provided aboard ship makes this cruise one that will always be remembered. Come aboard!
