If Gorbachev’s reformations had worked, would the CCCP be better place to live in than America?
Judging by the goals of perestroika, demokratizatsiya, and glasnost,
it looks like the CCCP would be like the old Leninist country, but with an honest, religiously tolerant, and more Marxist government. For communist haters, why don’t you choose to, oh I don’t know… READ THE MANIFESTO, and actually have a valid opinion before you spew anti-Marxist crap; most of you think of Stalin’s regime as communism, but this is simply not true. The same goes for the PRC, North Korea, and (I can’t believe people think this) Nazi Germany.
Very true, one can argue we are seeing (or have seen) the failure of capitalism over the past year…
