Coloured Coin
What is the value of a fully detailed, colored 50 cent coin dated 1966?

It has colors, (Hair, Face, even the flag and the sky is colored in the back round with very good detail. The tails (other side) is not colored. Dated 1966.

Are you sure that’s the date? If you’re talking about a US coin, the ones in 1966 had a portrait of JFK on the front, and there was no flag.

There was a half dollar minted in the US that had the elements you’re describing, but the “Walking Liberty” half dollar was only minted from 1916-1947.

If it’s either of those two coins, the coloring killed any numismatic value it might have had. 1966 halves have about $3 worth of silver in them, “Walkers” have about $7. Anything you might get over that would be entirely dependent on how much someone wanted a colorized coin.

I’ve added some links to pictures of the two coins I’m talking about. If your coin looks like neither of these, I’d need some more details about the design to figure out exactly what it is.

Incredible Matrix Coin with Coloured Coins!!
