what was colonial spain’s economy based on?
i have the belief it’s gold, silver, are tobacco
the age of exploration was driven by Spain. At that time the wealth of a nation was not in farming, but the measure of gold and silver in its treasury. Spain grew rich during the colonization of the Americas due to the large amounts of gold they captured from the Incas and the Aztecs.
