Farmville Cash and Coins
Farm Coins and Farm Cash are the two kinds of currency in Farmville. Farm Cash is a rather new addition to the game. It enables you to purchase more elite items. A unique item named the Flying Saucer can only be bought with Farm Cash during the Alien Invasion in Farmville. Other structures such as the Groovy Barn, Tea House and Pagoda all require that you save up your Farm Cash or purchase more on your account.
Extra Farm Coins and Farm Cash can be purchased with real money through a credit card or Paypal. Currently, Visa, Mastercard and American Express are honored. I recommend spending real money only on Farm Cash; with a rather short time investment you can effortlessly save up a lot of coins for more objects.
Coins
You will deal with Farm coins frequently since it is the common money used in Farmville. When you plow, plant or purchase certain objects, coins are what you’ll use. You get coins when you harvest animals or crops. When you harvest milk from a cow, coins will be added to your account balance right away. The same goes for plant crops; when you harvest an orange tree, you don’t receive oranges, you get coins. Keeping an eye on your coin balance will help you in deciding what crops to grow. Occasionally you have to decide between growing a whole field of a cheap crop or growing only a few squares of a high-priced crop. Keep a calculator close at hand and find out which is yielding you the mostincome.
Farm Cash
$1 is credited to your account everyday. I really recommend that you save your [Farm cash] and buy with your coins instead. Always think thoroughly before using your FarmCash. Farmville items such as special buildings, special farmville animals during events, fuel for your vehicles can only be bought using Farm Cash. Save it until you absolutely need it!!! Only spend it for unique objects during special ocassions which will help you build your collection of special items. Unique animals such as the Baby Turkey which appeared during the Thanksgiving event (although there is a Wild Turkey available as a lost animal during this event) and time-limited decors are examples of wise purchases. Getting exclusive items will help you show your own personality and style.
If ever you will purchase vehicles like a tractor or seeder, be ready to handle the cost of fuel. A vehicle needs to be gassed up for it to function, otherwise it will be just a decoration which takes up space. You need to consider purchasing Farm Cash if you’re planning on having a big farm with a lot of vehicles.
